AUTOMATIC TRAIN CONTROL SYSTEM

CBTC Autotrén v2.0:

Our flagship product – a CBTC system specifically designed to control large fleets of small self-driven small trains.

  • It allows to operate with train separations of only 6 seconds outside the stations, thus achieving very high capacities.
  • Its ATP train protection system has 19 safety functions, with integrity level up to SIL 4 (the highest level contemplated in railway standards).
  • Automatic start-up and stabling of trains according to the level of transport demand throughout the day.
  • Automatic coupling and uncoupling of trains according to the level of transport demand (automatic adjustment of capacity to demand)
  • Allows vehicles with different driving technologies to join the fleet in the future, without interrupting operation for safety re-certification.

Battery pack model BP-21:

  • Capacity 20 kWh.

  • Designed for fully automatic battery pack connection / disconnection and exchange (using LT-2 platform).

Recharging cabinet model BRR-2:

  • Ability to simultaneously recharge up to 4 BP-21 battery packs
  • Allows fully automatic connection / disconnection and exchange of battery packs (using LT-2 platform)

 

Battery exchange platform model LT-2:

  • Allows a complete battery exchange in less than 2 minutes.
  • Semi-automatic version and fully automatic version.

ROLLING STOCK

Autotrén vehicles are specifically designed for zero-emission, dedicated-rail, on-demand service public transportation applications. They combine automotive and rail technologies to achieve high capacity and safety at low cost. Like trains, Autotrén vehicles are rail-guided and mechanically coupled; like automobiles, they have pneumatic tires and carry their own battery packs for propulsion

AUTOMATIC TRAVEL-PASSENGER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

GIC v2.0:

  • Allows passengers to select their destination before boarding, either at self-service kiosks or through an app.
  • Groups passengers traveling to the same destination, to minimize intermediate stops for vehicles.
  • Communication interface with the “CBTC Autotrain v2.0” system to enable on-demand service.
  • Communication interface with commercial access control and fare collection systems.
  • Allows to manage on-board advertising, according to origin and destination of passengers.
